Clonazepam is used alone or in combination with other drugs to treat certain problems (seizure) disorders. Also to be treated for panic disorder in some patients. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepines belong to the group of medicines called central nervous system (CNS), the drugs are suppressing the nervous system.

The dosage of these drugs can be different for different patients. Follow doctor's orders or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the average doses of this drug. If the dose is different, do not change unless your doctor has prescribed.

For panic disorder and anxiety!
-At first, adults, 0.25 milligrams (mg) twice daily. Your doctor may adjust your dose if needed. But the dose is usually not more than 4 mg per day.
Use by children, and the dosage should be determined by your doctor.

If you have a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. It is, however, is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and your normalRegime. Do not double.

Be careful, as always!
